25. Resigning from the Association A member shall cease to be a member of the Association and shall thereupon be deemed ipso facto to have vacated his/her office in any of the following events:
(a) If such a member shall resign by giving one month's notice in writing to the Executive Director.
(b) If his/her annual subscription is in arrears for six months.
(c) If he/she is declared bankrupt, his/her business is placed in receivership or a compulsory winding up order is made.
(e) If he/she becomes a lunatic or of unsound mind.
(f) (i) If he/she is convicted of fraud, embezzlement, felony or is guilty of such conduct that in the opinion of the Board, may bring the Association into disrepute. (ii) If he/she is convicted of such other offence that, in the opinion of the Board of Management, requires mandatory cessation of membership.
(g) Any officer or member of the Association may be removed from office or have his/her membership terminated by a majority vote at a Special General Meeting so convened for such purpose, or by the Board of Management provided four of the members of the Board of Management agree.
(h) In the event of the cessation of membership, the Association's Certificate of Membership shall immediately be returned to the Association by that member, nor shall that member be entitled from the date of the cessation of his/her membership to use the Association's logo, bromides or any reference to the Association on his/her letterhead, stationery, advertisements or in any other way associate him/herself with the Association thereafter.
(i) A member who ceases to be a member of the Association shall not be entitled to a return of his/her money paid to the Association by way of entrance fee, subscription or otherwise, unless the Board of Management decrees otherwise.
(j) Any member who ceases to be a member of the Association either through that persons actions as defined in subsection 25E or by order of the Board of Management shall be further excluded from working as a salesperson for any member or members Company of this Association
